Our Adventures In Roma, Day 4

After enjoying our breakfast on the rooftop we headed out into the beautiful city on an equally gorgeous day.

Our first stop was the world famous Trevi Fountain.

Although at first we were disappointed to learn it was under reconstruction until November this year that didn’t stop us from going to see it and being able toss our coins into the small pool. As legend says, once you have thrown a coin into the fountain you will be sure to return to it and thats exactly what we intend to do in a few years so we can see the Fontana De Trevi in all its glory.

Even though there is no water and most of the fountain is covered by scaffolding it was still beautiful and breathtaking. Just to be there was an experience and it made us more determined to go back once the restoration is complete.

If you are taking a trip to the Trevi after the reconstruction or in the new year please tell us about your experience and if you have photographs we would love to see them xXx
